Here's something I've had saved on my computer for some years, and am posting below (complete with ALL the typos) for your reading pleasure.

and now presenting...

"Okay folks, here is my revised tutorial how to turn those dirty old surplus rifles into REAL LIVE TACTICAL SNIPER RIFLES!

I used my 1928 Hex Mosin Nagant m91/30, HOWEVER:

For best results try to use Orginal Dragoon m91 OR any Finnish Mosin Nagant!

First off you need tools

A Table, bench, or desk of some sort, or you can use your floor but I recomend some table.

Propane torch, this is for welding stuff, you need at least 10,000 BTU or Britan Thermal Units.

screwdrivers, any kind will do, I like flathead because you can force a flathead to work with a phillips head if you press hard enugh. If you use a electric drill, try and put the clutch all the way up to full power.

drill -see above, I use a cordless 7.5volt drill, a drill press is not nessisary if you use some books to hold it stable.

clamp of some sort or lots of books - see above, you dont need clamps if you stack books on top of the workspace, they weigh it down.

some gorilla glue - any glue will work, but gorilla glue is the bets, you can use duct tape if you must

a tasco scope or something, sniperish. We're on a budget so tasco provides the best optics for price $20 should be enough, get a paintball site if you cant afford one for a rifle. or a laser pointer and tape it to the gun.

a file, any kind, make sure its big

sandpaper, the bigger the better I recomend like 100 grit aluminumyum oxide

pilars, needle nose is best

a big hammer, could be brass or steel, dosent matter, bigger the better

rod, you need a rod, a coathanger straightend out wil lwork

steel whool brush, self explanatary

scope mount or peice of metal shaped like one, no need for fancy mounts, just get some wire if you can.

The most important aspect of a sniper rilfe is the bent bolt. THIS IS IMPORTANT BVECAUSE WITHOUT A BENT BOLT YOU WILL NOT KNOW IF IT IS CAPEABLE OF SNIPING OR NOT!

this is why the k98 masuer was upgraded from the older mauser rifles, which had straight bolts. the germans found out that a belt bolt is more accurate, so every german soldier was indeed a sniper! However the russians are stupid and still used straight bolts on their mausers

Okay to bend the bolt:

To do this I clamp thed bolt body into the clamp or I stack a lot of books on it to hold it down. Either will work.

Then you use the propane torch to heat the bolt till ti glows! Then you start smacking the bolt handle with the hammer. Oh crap, you heat the HANDLE not the entire bolt! DUH! use pot holders (for the oven) if you heat the bolt too mucvh! it is important that the bolt GLOWS, some color, I think red, but it may be white or yellow. anyway if you think you made the bolt too hot, throw cold water on it and start again. the bolt is metal so you cant break it, just make sure you bend the bolt!

Anyway you now have a bent sniper bolt, make sure its exactly 90 degrees, or its not authentic.

Now all sniper rifles have is a sniper scope so you need to mount the scope to the receiver. Now this is really hard, it involves drilling a hile in the reciever (dont forget to use a TITANIUM DRILL cause that is the only drill that wont melt when you drill steel)

HERE IS A QUICK TIP: dont have a sniper scope? take a pair of binoculars, break or saw one of the scopes off, so you have am onocular, this is the same as a sniper scope!

Okay you want to drill the left side of the receiver in. then you dril lthe metal scope mount. then you can nail, or screw, or even glue the two together! Okay but if you dont want to drill metal, herei s a trick

GLUE THE SCOPE TO THE SIDE OF THE STOCK, this is much easier than metal!

OH YES, a useful meber told me you can DUCT TAPE THE SCOPE TO THE SIDE OF THE GUN! this makes the gun scope mount MUCH easier. A trick is to double up on the tape!

Okay so now we have a a scope and a bent bolt. we need to make sure its a SNIPER BARREL

If you look down the barrel of most rifles you can see machineing imperfections. these imperfections cause the bullet to tumble and spin. this causes you to miss. the most important think in a sniper gun is the barrel must be free of imperfections!

Two ways to remove the imperfectons: FAST AND SLOW

the slow way is to take a cleaning rod with a stainless steel brush, thrown in some brasso or other polishing compount, and keep moving the brush into and out of the barrel untill the bore is mooth

HERE IS THE RIGHT WAY! THE FAST WAY!

Get your drill, take your rod, and stick it in your drill, now wrap sandpaper AND OR steel wool brush on rod, then apply a lot of abrsasive compount to the whole rod.

THEN you put the rod into the barrle, on HIGH untill the barrel is SHINEY AND NEW! YOU MUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A MIRROR BORE OR THEY KNOW ITS NOT A SNIPER RIFLE> MAKE SURE TO GET RID OF THOSE 'GROVES" THAT SLOW DOWN THE BULLET AND MAKE IT TUMBLE AROUND!

Remeber, the most imporant thin to make accurate rifle is the ABC

A smooth bore

Bent bolt

Cool scope.

Once you have removed the machineing imperfections (those grooves in the barrel) you bore should look like this:

Now for some of the finishing touches
Cut off all the bayonet lugs or sights (both rear and front) since a sniper wont need them! Also only soldiers need slings, so remove the sling holes by filling them with glue.

since too long a barrel slows the bullet down you need to remove some of it to make it a true PARATROOPER SNIPER RIFLE

take a saw or file and make the barrel at least 16" but if you are a true sniper, rifle it down to 10" or less, this makes it illegal, but a true sniper follows no laws!

Now for the marks on the gun, that make it ugly:

Those words on your gun are import marks or something. All the lettering on the metal can be filled in to give a more authentic sniper look. (snipers are stealth assasin secret angetns so they have no markings on their guns)

get some gorilla glue Pour it in the marks, then file it down, now you need some black pain, and paint that sucker tactical black (not flat or jet black)

Another key point is that many snipers cannot read because of bad eyesight. So markings mean nothing to them. Thats also why snipers dont have iron sights. How can a sniper have bad eyesight you ask? Really the scope is the answer! You see when a sniper shoots his scope the scope bangs into his eye socket fro mthe recoil! So eventauly all snipers loose most of their vision, so they get a 'corrective scope' which makes their eyesight better. This is why the saying ONCE A SNIPER ALWAYS A SNIPER. because a sniper can only see with a scope! Snipers also drink their own urine.

And last but not least.

If you are a real sniper you need a tactical sniper stock. The only such stock in the world belongs to the SVD dragonnov. Since we have a bolt action we need to improviese. Get a sand paper and sand down the stock, try to make a 'SVD dragonnov stock' if bnot you can always glue one on later.

Anway cut down the stock to the magazine well, because real snipers havce exposed barrels. Replace the handguard with a metal vented one. if you cant buy one, make one yourself!
Get a tin dcan, punch holes in it with a nail and glue it to the barrel.

Once the stock is done get some BBQ paint and paint it tactical black. Or camoflage!

You also want tyo cut a hole in the stock to glue a flashlight or laser pointer into it for the CQB or Close Quater Combat.

Here are some tips for a ADVANCED SNIPER RIFLE!

BIPOD: All sniper rifles have a bipod, get to a camera shop and buy a buypod, glue or tape it to the barrel

SILENCER: Allthough iellgal, a sniper follows no laws: Grabs some beer cans or soda bottles. Tape them end to end to make 'bafels' and then glue or tape it to the end of the barrel.

FLASH HIDER: Get a file and make slots on the end of the barrel!

OKAY HERE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT NON RIFLE PART::

all snipers shoot sniper ammo!

so called 'match ammo'

here is how you make match ammo:

1) Paint the bullet black (this means death from above)

2) hammer a nail into the tip of the bullet, this makes it a steel core armor penetrator

3) Cut a notch in the end of the bullet, this makes it a 'dum dum' exploding bullet.

4) Use a knife or file to remove the copper jacket, this makes the bullet more leathal to lead posioning.

If you follow my tutorial, you will have the best tactical sniper rifle with sniper ammo and you will save a lot of money for beer!
